Amidst the constant obstacles that were around every corner for couples whose wedding was affected by the pandemic, Caroline and Matthew’s wedding also encountered some changes that resulted in their reception being moved to Caroline’s family home. Even though it wasn’t the initial plan for their wedding day, it ended up becoming the most perfect location for their celebration and added a bit of extra sentiment to the festivities. I absolutely love when my couples include their family home or land in their wedding day because it makes all the details more personal and weaves all the pre-existing happy memories into the wedding’s new moments and memories.
The bride’s parents’ home was the perfect backdrop for the classy poolside cocktail hour, and was the prettiest place for all their guests to sip and mingle before breaking out the dance moves and celebrating under the tented reception. Caroline and Matthew’s Louisville Private Estate wedding was so effortlessly elegant, and my heart is so filled with all the sweet moments captured on their day. The smiles on their faces in every photo say it all– that newlywed feeling simply cannot be beaten.
