One of my favorite parts about engagement sessions is that it’s an opportunity to spend time at a location that is meaningful to the couple, somewhere they feel like themselves, a place that holds value in their relationship. For Vanessa and Nate, one of those spots is somewhere that they’ve spent lots of time in 2020 together: walking, exercising, talking about their wedding, and simply getting out of the house during COVID. It only made sense to do their session somewhere they’ve spent so much time together this year, and I loved getting to explore with them for their Cherokee Park Engagement Session in Louisville, Kentucky.
Vanessa and Nate describe themselves as work sweethearts, she’s in advertising and he’s in television, and somewhere along the line their work worlds collided and the rest is history. The way their faces light up when looking at one another makes my heart so happy, and I loved getting to see them make each other glow with smiles while we walked through Cherokee Park. Their love is sweet, simple, and easy, and I’m so excited to work with them for their fall wedding in Louisville. Take a little peek into their Engagement Session at Cherokee Park below!
