I’ve said it before, and I will never stop saying it: Working with other photographers for their own wedding is one of the greatest honors I will ever get to experience in this industry. When another Lexington wedding photographer named Lauren reached out to me for her own wedding, I was so excited and humbled to be get to capture all of her sweet moments and memories.

Lauren met her now husband Kameron at Morehead State University, where they were both students involved in the athletics department: Lauren playing soccer, and Kameron playing football. One day Kameron asked for her number for help with calculus, and the rest is history! Just 6 months into dating, Lauren knew he was the one that she would marry, and 4 years later he got down on one knee– of course she said yes!

Fast forward to the summer of 2019, and the two became husband and wife at their Lexington Kentucky wedding ceremony at the Cathedral of Christ the King, followed by the most epic wedding reception at Manchester Music Hall. After their sweet ceremony, we hopped on the Trolley and rode over to Ashland: The Henry Clay Estate for all of their beautiful wedding portraits. Their day was complete with Signature Cocktails in honor of their sweet dogs, the most perfect summer color palette and florals, and a whole spread of flavor: cake, donuts, ice cream, coffee guest favors, and late-night pizza.
